Standing at about 6'9", Rivers has an imposing figure. His hair is long when down, but more often than not it will be up in some sort of braid or ponytail. The tips of his hair are pure white, though he often colors it with chalks to match his outfit. The majority of his body is covered in black scales with white freckles, somewhat like the night sky. Upon his chest is a horrific scar, a starburst pattern as if someone had attempted to rip out his heart, once covered with extensive makeup in order to prevent others' fear, now worn with pride. His tail is always decorated with golden charms.

Rivers is a soft spoken man that more often than not will be more happy to listen than to speak. His memory isn't the best, often having to refer to one of his many journals when speaking with people. He always is attending to other people's needs and often showing concern whenever people express the more dangerous parts of their lives, not that he doesn't have a few stories to share of his own daredevil stunts.He will become a chatty lizard the moment someone gets him talking about his notes on herbology or his heritage of the steppe. Bright and bubbly, it's rare to find Rivers without a smile on his face. If you do happen to find him frowning, unless you wish for a spar it would be best to give him a wide bearth.

His Story;

Rivers wasn't always a wanderer, nor did he originally call Eorzea home. A Xaela from the Steppe, he makes no secret of his love of home. Be it a traditionally dish he has attempted or stories of his old hunts. He's rather cagey about the details surrounding his departure however, as well as any specific details of his time back home.With a kind smile and soft voice, you'll find him spending his hours chatting with a guest of the Midnight Echoes or somewhere out deep in the wilderness. He is fiercely protective of his coworkers and friends, not to mention rather good at keeping up with his chaotic partner. He is also uniquely skilled with multiple languages, including Eorzean Sign Language. His tongue naturally falls to Auri when he speaks to himself or to a close companion, though he's always happy to teach the old tongue to anyone who shows interest.Currently, Rivers is working as the head servant of a high house of Ishgard, Du Allamont. After an unfortunate stay in the gaol, the Lord of the house has taken Rivers under his wing. With the house dealing with trade, Rivers is often busy setting up trading routes, or even gathering and crafting items himself for the Lord of the house.

It's not often you see a Xaela running around in Ishgard, especially one that shows no fear of the temple knights. Rivers is a well known face in the snowy city, and the Lord that he works for isn't the most reputable.
